LEC's establishment in 2000Ad in Rupandehi is a milestone in technical education. Education has to be relevant to the age and modern age is not conceivable shun technical education. Development without technical education is almost impossible though the match of technical know how and a particular country's requirement of such technicality involves a serious debate. LEC's promotors' sole motive is to fulfill the demand of technical institute for higher level in the zone to stop the outgoing youths in the name of qualitative and technical education. So for technical education is concerned Lumbini Zone has already become self- dependent. For any social effort local people's support is indispensable so we appeal to the people and students of this zone to support us. |

Modern education entails technical education. Lumbini Zone around 2000AD did not have much scope for it. Therefore, in order to fulfill this long outstanding demand we have decided to establish Lumbini Enginieering College in order to provide opportunity for technical education to the youth of this region in particular. As the government could not meet the requirement of technical institution, the educated and dedicated to social service people established this college in private sector.

To establish an engineering college in private sector is an example of the concern of the people to develop the locality and nation. If it is established in a rural area, its aim is better realized. Lumbini Engineering College has produced many efficient engineers of Civil, Computer, Electronics & Communication and they are engaged in various government offices, Banks, Software Companies both at home and abroad. It has succeeded in producing university topper students securing 100% marks. |
